AP Biology Students Display Artistic Talent

To emphasize the need to develop our students' talents across the WHOLE curriculum, here are examples of our science students, who have also spent significant time pursuing and developing their artistic talent. In these hard economic times too often cuts are made in the arts. These works are strong evidence for educators and communities to insist on maintaining a full and meaningful curriculum!!

Ally studied for one semester abroad in Switzerland. Her AP Art portfolio consisted of stamps representing the European cities she visited, while studying in Europe. Ally is currently a student in AP Biology. She has taken four years of science in Bronxville, in addition to the "Core", she has also taken AP Chemistry and AP Physics BC. Ally has also taken AP courses in AP Statistics, AP Spanish Language and AP English Literature.
